100% Pure British Alpaca yarn 100g Black

This stunning naturally black yarn is 100% pure British alpaca, from our alpaca farm in West Sussex.
The fleece is processed in the UK at East Anglia Alpaca Mill in small batches so we can trace each yarn back to the individual Alpaca it came from.
No dyes or chemicals are added so colours are completely natural.

It takes a full year for our Alpacas to grow enough fleece to be sheared. During that time they are lovingly cared for on our peaceful farm in West Sussex.

This Black yarn is from Chieftain, born in 2018. Chieftain has won numerous awards including Champion Black Male Alpaca twice.
Chieftain is an impressive alpaca with a stunning true black fleece. He certainly stands out amongst the herd and has the most lovely eye lashes!

Our yarn is DK knit 100g balls with 235m per ballAlpaca fleece is hypoallergenic, water-resistant and has a natural crimp, making it a naturally elastic yarn well-suited for knitting.
