Our Alpaca Fibre is supplied in a re-useable cotton bag 20cm x 30cm.
The cotton bags are also perfect to use for keeping your veg fresh in or anything else!
Our Alpacas are professionally sheared once a year.
Alpaca fibre on each animal is of three very distinct types:
1) Neck hair: characteristically fine and soft but too short for spinning
2) Leg hair: characteristically coarse, stiff and straight
3) Body hair, the Blanket: longer, not as fine as neck, nor as coarse as leg – so can be suitable
for spinning.
Our nesting material is made up of a mixture of the above.
Although its sorted it is not washed or cleaned and may have the odd piece of organic material in it.
Our Alpaca fibre comes from our award winning herd of Alpacas in West Sussex UK – Redens Alpacas

Birdies are loving it, this will last a good few years I reckon. I peg it to trees and shrubs for easy picking, and stuff some inside a suet block feeder and hang it at the bird feeding station. The bag I received the alpaca fur in is sooo adorable <3 Usually I put out sheep’s wool and my labradors fur (after giving them a good brushing, no I don’t shear my doggies) but thought I’d mix it up and try alpaca. Would absolutely purchase more from this seller

just what I was hoping for?, its taken me a little while to be able to find material like this, but im gald I was able to come across this seller! its lovely quality, the bag it came in is really nice and the birds are loving it! hopefully their chicks will too?, arrived very fast which is always a bonus!, thank you?

This item came within a couple of day, it was just had the seller had described it, it when be on my expectations it was so soft, the birds really love it and have take lots of it for their nest.
